Of all the editions we have published over the years, this edition was easily one of our favorites. It's a set of 4 works entitled Golden Ratio. Conceptually, it's based off the golden ratio, also known as the golden number, golden proportion, or the divine proportion, is a ratio between two numbers that equals approximately 1.618. Usually written as the Greek letter phi, it is strongly associated with the Fibonacci sequence, a series of numbers wherein each number is added to the last. The significance of this number/ratio is that this relative proportion occurs just about everywhere in nature, both in flora and fauna. Animal physiology, size and shape proportions in all manner of plant life, etc.

These works are absolutely beautiful and they sold out very quickly when they were originally released in 2008. Small edition of only 15. And at this size, these works make quite the statement. On heavy, very expensive archival museum grade paper stock. This piece comes framed as shown. The two part print process started with an Ultrachrome photograph that was then silkscreened in black and siliver paint. These pieces read like a painting. They are exquisite.
